The City of Akron Recreation & Parks Division offers quality of life activities for all of our area residents – the young and young at heart!  We offer active adult activities, sports for kids and adults, programs and classes at all of our community centers, events for the whole family to enjoy, and opportunities to engage in your neighborhood.  Find out all we have to offer and get involved today!

Upcoming Programs

Summer Camp registration is now open!  We offer Summer Fun Camps that are 8-weeks long that provide fun all summer long.  We also offer our Weekly Theme Camps that are 4-day camp options to keep kids busy at different times throughout the summer.  Register today for your summer fun.
 
Attention Teens:  The Akron Recreation & Parks Teen Membership gives teens ages 12–17 access to safe, fun, and engaging programs across our community centers. Members can participate in programs like Connect @ the Rec, drop-in activities, special events, and teen-only opportunities happening at the Community Centers.  Membership is free and required for participation in teen programs.  Register today and enjoy all the free activities.
